About Asian Kitchen

Located at 3225 N Harbor Dr, San Diego, CA 92101, Asian Kitchen operates as a pan-asian restaurant serving San Diego in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Please read this review before ordering, especially if you are considering the poke bowls. I ordered the Spicy Poke Bowl, but to my surprise, they simply took it out of the refrigerated display case next to the counter. I asked if they could make a fresh one, and they told me that it had been made at 9:00 a.m. After I took it home and tried it, I realized that it wasn’t spicy at all. When I contacted them about it, they simply gave me some Sriracha sauce. Oh, rice was super cold in the bottom. Food: 2.4/10 Friendliness: 7/10 Please save yourself the disappointment .

I got the Pad Thai with tofu and it didn't taste good. There was almost no flavor and felt a bit sweet if I may say so. Did they use ketchup perhaps though it wasn't red. The volume of the dish was big. I couldn't finish it and it was very hot and stayed warm for another 45 minutes till I boarded.

This airport location serves a very reasonably priced fried rice that is a nice change from other airport Asian food. I had an extremely personable and mannerable cashier take my order and wish every woman a happy mother's day. Also, the piano in the area was a very classy touch. Talent just walks up to play. My food took a little extra time to prepare; however, it was worth the wait. I had a very quiet and peaceful moment interrupted by amazing passerby piano playing.

Very nice spot in the airport behind the lounges. β€œExtra hot” was more like medium hot, but i guess they’re accommodating the white people lol. They gave extra sriracha so that was another nice touch. Fresh taste with herbs and unique flavor from the drunken noodles that i usually get. Lovely stop before the flight. Give 10 minutes for them to make the food. Worth the wait 😁❀️

A fantastic find in San Diego's Terminal 2! My Alaska Airlines flight was leaving soon, and I needed a quick but fresh dinner. Asian Kitchen, conveniently located right past security, delivered perfectly. I ordered the chicken stir-fry with peanut sauce and was seriously impressed by how fresh and vibrant the ingredients tasted. A quick tip for sauce lovers: order extra on the side, as it doesn't come drenched. The service was top-notchβ€”the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with navigating the menu. Ordering is a breeze, with easy-to-use self-order tablets and plenty of grab-and-go options if you're on a tighter schedule. I also loved the seating area, which is very comfortable and offers a great view of the planes taking off and landing while you eat. Highly recommend stopping here for a surprisingly high-quality airport meal!
